Kids Kung Fu Classes
A Message from Our Director and Chief-Instructor:
Dear Parent,
Wouldn't it be great for your child to be involved in an activity which teaches them self-discipline, confidence, and a positive attitude? An activity where no one "sits on the bench" and everyone learns leadership skills?
That is exactly what our Kids Kung Fu classes offer your child!
The term "kung fu" literally means "a skill or accomplishment developed through hard work." For this reason, the study of kung fu is looked upon as a timeless method for teaching focus, instilling discipline, building confidence, and teaching individuals the value of hard work.
That ancient wisdom still holds true today. Studies have shown that kids involved in the martial arts tend to be better behaved, make better grades, and have higher self-esteem than their peers.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are the classes safe?
Yes, Kung Fu is a highly supervised activity with an average student/teacher ratio of 7 to 1. Our students are never asked to perform any movements that would put them in danger of injury. - Does the training lead to aggresiveness?
Absolutely not! Kung Fu is for self-defense, not for offense. Every student at our school is taught the Kung Fu philosophies of honor, respect for others, and non-violence. - Are martial arts lessons worth the money?
Because a structure of respect, courtesy and honesty is built into Kung Fu, students develop traits such as confidence, self-discipline, focus, integrity and much, much more. Simply put, most sports don't build leadership traits. If you have the skills to perform you're in the game, if not you're on the bench. Kung Fu is different, our program is designed to develop leaders. These invaluable "life skills" have profound effects on performance both in school and at work. In adults this translates to more success in the workforce and quality of life. For your child, it means better work and study habits, improved behavior, and more self-control. - What other activities do you offer?
We also conduct Kung Fu Birthday Parties and week-long Kids Kung Fu Summer Camps, in addition to periodic Parent's Night Out events. Please contact us for more details.
